The Kingdom of Kush Appoints Dr. Sanfo Hamidou as Executive Assistant to His Majesty

The Kingdom of Kush officially announced, through a royal decree dated December 8, 2025, the appointment of Dr. Sanfo Hamidou to the position of Executive Assistant to His Majesty. This decision, effective immediately, entrusts the newly appointed official with a central role within the executive, administrative, and diplomatic machinery of the Kingdom, serving directly under the Sovereign.

The appointment was formalized by an official letter of nomination (Ref. KOK/HRM-PALACE/EX-APPT/20251208001), issued by the Office of His Majesty, based in Bir Tawil. Bearing the Royal Seal of His Royal Majesty Mansa Suliman Al Kushi, Sovereign and Guardian of the Kingdom of Kush, the document clearly and rigorously defines the scope of responsibilities attached to this high office.

A Strategic Position at the Heart of Executive Power

In his new role, Dr. Sanfo Hamidou will primarily assist the Sovereign in the exercise of royal, governmental, and international duties. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of His Majesty’s Cabinet, including agenda management, coordination of strategic briefings, and follow-up on internal communications.

On the diplomatic front, he will serve as a key liaison between the Royal Court and foreign governments, diplomatic missions, and international organizations. In this capacity, he will ensure strict compliance with state and diplomatic protocols, while actively contributing to the strengthening of the Kingdom’s external relations.

His responsibilities also include coordinating state visits and official delegations, providing strategic support on foreign policy and international agreements, and liaising with ministries and national institutions on matters requiring the direct attention of His Majesty. The letter of appointment further emphasizes fundamental values such as confidentiality, loyalty, and integrity, deemed essential to the fulfillment of this office.

An Honorary  Appointment

Dr. Sanfo Hamidou’s appointment is granted “at the pleasure of His Majesty” and may be amended or revoked at any time by royal decree.

These benefits notably include official honorary recognition, expanded diplomatic access, enhanced institutional prestige, as well as cultural and ceremonial privileges, fully aligned with the royal protocol of the Kingdom of Kush.

Ethical Code and Royal Oath

The appointment document is accompanied by a strict Code of Ethical Conduct applicable to all servants of the Royal Court. This code requires absolute loyalty to the Sovereign, unwavering discretion, total moral integrity, and deep respect for the traditions, customs, and protocols of the Kingdom.

Finally, Dr. Sanfo Hamidou is called upon to take the Royal Oath of Office in the presence of His Majesty, the Royal Court, and the Youth Parliament of the United States of Africa. Through this solemn commitment, he pledges to serve the Kingdom of Kush and the African continent with fidelity, responsibility, and dedication, while working toward the promotion of unity, prosperity, and the empowerment of African youth.
